Less Than Two Weeks Left, But I’m Ready to Go Now

Just a little under two weeks…

My $10,000 fundraising goal has been unofficially met, I have my Tanzanian visa, my plane tickets have been bought, and all my gear is packed.

I’m ready to give cancer a big kick in the face with my hiking boots.

Can I go climb Kilimanjaro now?

Finally got around to picking up my boots (and a few other great items) at Whole Earth Provision Company! So excited to lace some neon yellow Go4TheGoal Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer shoelaces through these, and then go for a lot of training hikes before I tackle Kilimanjaro for LIVESTRONG! Thanks, Whole Earth!

A BIG Thank You!

Shout out to Whole Earth Provision Company, a local outdoor store that rocks. They specialize in clothing, footwear, outerwear, travel tools, and nature education from Kerrville to Kilimanjaro since 1970. Their staff was so skillful in helping me select gear I’ll need for the climb, and they were kind enough to give me a discount, too!

I know I will be able to spend my time focusing on training, fundraising, and fighting cancer because of Whole Earth’s generosity—thanks again for helping me get one step closer to the summit!
